Located in the village of Newbourne, it is an ideal base to explore the Suffolk countryside and Heritage Coast. Felixstowe is 10 miles and the charming market town of Woodbridge with its range of shops, restaurants and sailing (space for small boat/dinghy at property) on the River Deben is 5 miles. The village of Newbourne boasts its own nature reserve, Newbourne Springs. Other attractions include the ancient burial ground at Sutton Hoo (NT), Framlingham, Aldeburgh and Snape Maltings.
