The popular seaside resort of Ryde is only a 5-minute drive, renowned for its long stretch of glorious golden sandy beach, and numerous attractions for all ages, including ten-pin bowling, boat rides, indoor swimming pool and children’s play area. Also within easy reach are Osborne House, Queen Victoria’s splendid former holiday residence, Quarr Abbey, nostalgic steam train rides from Havenstreet, and world famous yachting at Cowes. The Isle of Wight is renowned for having a temperate climate, and plenty of tourist attractions suitable for all ages. Enjoy riding, golf, birdwatching, watersports and excellent scenic walks.
