This little cottage is at the end of a small terrace of four cottages built more than 150 years ago. It is set on the hillside overlooking the West Lyn River and only 100 yards from Lyn Woods, which form part of the National Trust’s Watersmeet Estate. The holiday cottage is ideally situated for visiting Lynton, which is only a 10-minute walk along Lynway, the Valley of the Rocks with its famous wild goats, or the twin town of Lynmouth with its water-powered cliff railway. From Lynbridge, it is easy to explore the towns, villages and open countryside of Exmoor, or enjoy the many country or coastal walks. Nearby, there are facilities for horse riding, tennis, bowls, and boat trips from Lynmouth Harbour. Within just a few miles, there are the outstanding sandy beaches of Woolacombe and Croyde, both well known to surfers around the world, and the historic market towns of Barnstaple and South Molton.
