Wildlife is in abundance, with good bird watching; badger watching and a chicken keeping course sometimes available at an extra cost. This holiday accommodation lies within the New Forest, where open heaths, wild ponies and miles of footpaths stretch from the door, and network of walking and cycling paths.

Cathedral towns of Salisbury and Winchester are both a short drive away. Bournemouth with its sandy beach and Christchurch are both about ½ hours drive. Poole is within easy reach, and the market town of Ringwood is approximately 4 miles away.
