An excellent holiday base to explore the many delights that North Cornwall has to offer. These two wonderful apartments (Refs W42021 and W42022) are a welcoming retreat and are ideally placed close to the spectacular National Trust Coastal Path, which boasts access to superb bays, beaches and coves, the nearest of these being Sandymouth, just 3 miles away. Set on the edge of Penstowe Park, guests can take advantage of the leisure and recreational facilities of Penstowe Manor at reasonable rates, on a pay-as-you-go basis. The leisure club has a 3 lane indoor bowls, heated indoor swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi, squash, badminton and tennis courts. A cabaret suite (limited out of season) and childrens club are on site along with a restaurant and bars. The village of Kilkhampton, set around its beautiful church offers two pubs and a good range of shops and take-away food outlets, all within easy walking distance. The popular resort of Bude is 6 miles, and has glorious beaches and town amenities along with a great selection of bars and restaurants. Bude also boasts the only working sea lock gates in the country, which is the start of a leisurely stroll along the picturesque canal. Golf, horse riding, surfing, fishing and mountain boarding are all on offer here and the internationally acclaimed annual jazz festival is not to be missed.
