Many cycle routes pass nearby and an hours stroll along the lanes will bring visitors to the pubs, shops and museums of Kendal, which also has a lovely castle and riverside walks.
Beautiful historic houses and gardens such as Sizergh Castle, Holker Hall and Levens Castle are all within a short drive, whilst other exciting visitor attractions include The Aquarium of the Lakes, South Lakes Wild Animal Park and the Brockhole Lake District Visitor Centre.
