Description

Close to the Caledonian Canal

Situated close to the shores of Loch Linnhe and the famous Caledonian Canal, these apartments offer comfortable accommodation in a quiet village setting. Just 4 miles from the centre of Fort William, the ’outdoor capital of the UK’, they make an ideal base for enjoying the wide variety of activities available in this beautiful part of the highlands. The local scenery has been used as the backdrop for many well known films such as ’Braveheart’ and ’Rob Roy’, and a journey on the West Highland Steam Train (seasonal) takes you past the Glenfinnan Viaduct as depicted in one of the Harry Potter films. Take a trip on a gondola up Aonach Mor, now boasting a dry ski slope, or try the World Championship mountain bike course. Golden Eagles, wild deer, otters and dolphins are just some of the wildlife often seen in the area. Fishing, climbing, horse riding, walking, golf and a variety of water sports are available locally, and Loch Ness, Glencoe, Oban and the Isle of Skye are also easily accessible. Shops, pub and restaurant 50 yards.
