Situated close to the market town of Kirkbymoorside, this cosy end of terrace holiday cottage provides an ideal base for exploring the North Yorkshire Moors, superb for walking, cycling or riding. There is lots to do in this popular area, with places to visit including the famous village of Hutton-le-Hole (2 miles), Helmsley (6 miles), with its castle ruins and walled gardens, and Pickering (6 miles), where visitors can board the North York Moors Steam Railway and enjoy the stunning scenery as it chugs through the Esk Valley and into Goathland, better known as ‘Aidensfield’ in the TV series Heartbeat. The seaside resorts of Whitby and Scarborough are easily accessible and the historic walled city of York just a 30-minute drive. Golf course 1 mile. Shop, pub and restaurant 0.5 miles.
