Ideal holiday base
Dating to the mid 1800s this quaint but deceptively spacious cottage nestles in the tiny hamlet of Wrelton, just outside the historic town of Pickering. Wrelton is an ideal holiday base from which to explore the North Yorkshire Moors National Park, the Heritage Coast of Yorkshire and the city of York. Pickering has a wide variety of shops, inns, tea rooms and restaurants, as well as being the southern terminus of the North Yorkshire Moors Railway. Steam trains run a regular service to Grosmont through the beautiful moorland scenery, from where you can continue on to the ancient fishing port of Whitby. There are several historic houses nearby and a wealth of walks to suit all tastes. Shop 1 mile and restaurant 250 yards.
