Quiet coastal village

Coolamber, a spacious detached bungalow set in its own garden and finished to a very good standard, provides the ideal holiday base to enjoy the romantic Roseland Peninsula and the surrounding Cornish coastal areas. The village of Gorran Haven is perfect for touring this stunning area, with many superb outdoor activities available including fishing, sailing or walking the Cornish Coastal Path to Portmellon (where a traditional lunch of crab sandwiches can be enjoyed in one of the cafes or pubs).

Gorran Haven offers a shop/PO which supplies all the basic essentials, as well as freshly baked bread each morning. Within walking distance is the beach at Gorran Haven, the playground and tennis court as well as a restaurant and hotel/pub. A trip to Mevagissey with its fishing trips and famous pasty shops is a must, as is a visit to the Lost Gardens of Heligan.

The famous Eden Project near St Austell is also not to be missed, and is sure to keep visitors of all ages entertained and amused. For beach lovers, this area is a paradise, offering secluded bays as well as busier beaches with activities. A visit to the Georgian harbour of Charlestown and the Shipwreck Museum makes for a pleasant way to spend an afternoon.
