It has an impressive open plan living area with tasteful decor throughout. The lodge provides an ideal base for a relaxing holiday throughout the year. The unspoilt country location is excellent with nearby beaches, coastal walks, cycling, fishing, pony-trekking, sailing and a number of golf courses.

Dalbeattie (8 miles), Castle Douglas (12 miles) and Dumfries (20 miles) are all within easy driving distance and are well worth a visit. Also the artists’ town of Kirkcudbright with its shops, art galleries and castle is only 20 miles away.
