This period detached holiday cottage is probably the oldest cottage in the delightful timeless thatched village of Okeford Fitzpaine.

The village owes its name to the Fitzpaine family of 14th century lords. The cottage has the benefit of a spacious kitchen, many of the original beams remain throughout, and there is still the large inglenook fireplace.

To the rear is a glazed sun trap conservatory overlooking the pretty garden. There are many interesting places to visit nearby, historic Blandford Forum, 7 miles, which is a Georgian town of chequered brick and stone.
