This 16th century detached house stands on a 1,200 acre farm in the most stunning location surrounded by fabulous valley and mountain views including the majestic Snowdon Horseshoe. It offers 1.5 miles of free trout fishing in the owner’s grounds. An ideal holiday location within the beautiful Snowdonia National Park renowned for its craggy mountains, steep valleys and jewel-like lakes; the cottage offers wonderful mountain walks.
The National Mountain Centre is only 2 miles away providing a variety of outdoor pursuits including climbing wall and dry ski slope. Betws-y-Coed is a delightful village among conifer-clad crags and offers magnificent scenery combined with good restaurants, a variety of shops and golf. Llanberis, less than 20 minutes’ drive away, offers a variety of interests.
From here, the mountain railway ascends to the summit of Snowdon; there is the National Slate Museum, winner of tourism awards, the Llanberis Lake Railway, and not to be missed, Electric Mountain, an exciting journey into the Dinorwig Power Station, deep in the hillside. Exciting day trips to Victorian Llandudno and Conwy are a must. Caernarfon Castle, Bodnant Gardens, Anglesey and its lovely beaches are all within easy reach.
