This delightful terraced holiday cottage is situated on the side of the River Derwent in the popular market town of Cockermouth.
It was built in 1811 and has been lovingly renovated to provide cosy accommodation with emphasis being placed on retaining the character of the cottage.
There are views over the river to parkland and holidaymakers can enjoy relaxing on the patio which leads down to the water’s edge. Cockermouth, which is the birthplace of the poet William Wordsworth, is situated on the north west fringe of the Lake District National Park giving easy access to the dramatic lakes and fells. The Solway Coast is also within easy reach, or visit Hadrian’s Wall to the north.
