Quaint harbour village
Once the stable and groom’s quarters for the doctor’s horse-drawn gig, now an enchanting, compact, stylish holiday home set among a row of stone cottages, leading up from the narrow main street.
The accommodation is arranged on two floors, with the kitchen/living room and shower room at the entrance level, where the front door leads out to the cobbled lane. Wander down to the harbour (200 yards) to watch the catch come in.
There is the Lost Gardens of Heligan (3 miles), the Shipwreck Centre and Tall Ships Harbour at Charlestown (8 miles) and the coastal path, which winds along sandy beaches, rocky coves and craggy cliff tops, passes within 300 yards. The Eden Project is also worth a visit.
Shop 50 yards, pub and restaurants 100 yards.
