This charming modernised detached holiday cottage set in a small highland estate of approximately 20 acres, is just 1 mile from the village of Ford. Ford is situated at the south western end of Loch Awe - renowned for its fishing. Nearby is Kilmartin, in the heart of Kilmartin Glen, famous for its historical and archaeological sites with standing stones, castles and ancient cairns. The award winning Kilmartin Museum is well worth a visit, and other attractions are bird watching, walking and cycling. Day trips to various islands can be organised from nearby Oban or Tarbert. Stabling for one horse available on request depending on availability. Shop, pub and restaurant 4 miles.
